Happy Birthday Sweet Girl

My baby girl turns 3 today. It's been a wonderful, challenging, fun and exhausting ride with my opinionted, loving, sweet, sassy, and fearless little girl. We love you Morgan!

Cincinnati Bearcats

Will's playing flag football this spring and loving it. I was a little worried when I was told that he would need a mouthguard - but so far it hasn't been an issue and he thinks it's cool because "real" football players wear mouthguards :).

2 Weeks!

Two weeks from tomorrow is our big day. We're excited and hoping for good weather. My dress shipped yesterday - here's hoping the measurements are right. Last weekend we met with the pastor (wonderful!) and the photographer (in Eric's words - a complete nut job). I have to agree with him. The pastor was great and helpful and will be a wonderful addition to our service. The photographer...wow. I don't even know how to put it into words. However, I am grateful that I didn't notice what Eric did. Apparently when she was telling us the story of her own, ill-fated marriage, her tiny 8 lb dog was um, in heat, on her foot. I'm glad I didn't notice because I probably would have had to excuse myself. We're hoping the dog won't join her at the wedding.

Globetrotters

We had such a great time at the Harlem Globetrotters game on Monday night. Eric saw them as a child and said it was just as good at 8 as it was at 38. We all loved it - I think FlightTime, BigEasy, and "Globie" the mascot were our favorites.

Afterwards Will and Eric got every team member's autograph on Will's ball. He's already asked Grandpa John to make a case for it so I'm sure it will have a place of honor in his room shortly!
